German unit price calculator

PAngV § 4 generally requires a unit price alongside the total price for consumer offers and priced advertisements of packaged goods sold by weight, volume, length or area. Loose goods require only the unit price. Exceptions apply; consult § 4(3).

Under § 5, 100 g / 100 ml is an option only for loose goods where customary. Packaged goods use the standard basis. Use the stated drained weight where required. This tool covers kg, l, m and m²; bulk, cubic-metre and detergent rules are outside its scope.
